I'm a freelance travel writer based around the world.
While I tend to refer to myself as a freelance travel writer, I don’t like to pigeon-hole myself any further. Content writing, blogs, ghost-writing, scripts, captions, newsletters, social media bio optimisation… if it features words, it’s probably something I like to do.
From luxury hotel reviews to budget hostel round-ups, sponsored city guides to continent-wide, SEO-driven editorials, branding for surf resorts or social media for super-yacht brands, I’m a travel writer who can cover a lot of ground – metaphorically and literally.
My previous clients include Airbnb, VRBO, Tripadvisor, Viator, Noma Collective, Digital Nomad World and more.
Aside from travel content marketing and copywriting, I work with a few lifestyle brands covering fashion and beauty.
I’m triple-accredited by the NCTJ, BJTC and PPA and also have a 2:1 in Journalism Studies from the University of Sheffield.
When I’m not writing, you can find me over at The Freedom Route: my consultancy and coaching business, which helps female freelance writers to grow and diversify their own businesses efficiently and confidently.
I started my career as a journalist for some of the UK’s biggest news publications before moving into branded content. After spending a couple of years plotting my escape building up my skills, I finally launched my freelance career and fled to a (mostly) warmer climate on the other side of the world.
I offer a wide range of editorial and commercial travel content, built up from years of experience working with a huge range of international household brands.
